Introducing the April Lively Lady: Catie Bird!
Meet Catie!
Having a background of 20 years in the Harley-Davidson dealer network, Katie and her husband came across an incredible opportunity to purchase Durango Harley-Davidson. After a lot of prayer and planning, they decided to pack up their family from their home in New Braunfels, TX and start their next chapter here in beautiful Durango, CO! It’s been seven amazing years of living here, and Catie looks forward to see what God has planned for them in the future. Catie’s husband is Trevor Bird and they have been married for 15 years and have two incredible children: Millie Grace who is 13 and loves theater and volleyball, and Reece Bird who is 11 and is crazy about snowboarding and lacrosse.
Catie works alongside her husband as an owner of Durango Harley-Davidson, but she is also in charge of their community relations. Catie and Trevor are very passionate about giving back and they host numerous community-wide events and support several local nonprofits throughout La Plata County. As far as hobbies, Catie enjoys hiking and motorcycle rides. She really is an old soul at heart and she loves to needlepoint, cross stitch, host dinner parties, and Catie has a deep love of beautiful dishes and setting the table.
Catie loves anything from Sanctuary because their looks are so versatile and can be dressed up or down to create several looks. While she loves to dress up occasionally, Catie mostly lives in her jeans and Z Supply basic tees. They are so soft and comfortable and can be worn alone or layered under a cute blazer!
As a small business owner, Catie knows how important every transaction can be and so she likes to support local businesses as much as she can. Catie says, “Specifically, I love shopping at Lively because I know I will always be greeted with a friendly hello and welcoming smile. I’m always sure to find a stunning piece that will elevate my wardrobe, have excellent quality, and always be on trend. Lively is a one stop shop from the hat on my head to the shoes on my feet.
