Meet Heather!
Heather fell in love with Durango for the small town slow down and deeper connection with her friends and family. Her whole family (Myself - with a babe on the way, Husband, Mom, Dad, Sis, Bro In-Law, Niece, Nephew, and Meme) all packed up and moved to Durango together in 2013. After spending their whole lives coming to Southwest Colorado to visit family in Ouray and Montrose, they decided they wanted to be here, leaving behind the crazy rat race that is big city life. Heather and her family all moved to one big property in 2013 and still now all live within a couple minutes of each other, staying connected and supporting each other any chance they can get. Fun fact: our manager Misty is Heather’s older sister!
Heather and her husband, Joe, have been together for 15 years. Together they share a 10 year old son and a 3 year old daughter, pictured here! Heather has been a high school Special Education Teacher for 11 years at Animas High School and is moving into a new role as Registrar and Student Services Coordinator next school year. Heather loves to cook, garden, shop, be with her kiddos, and spend time with her family and friends. Heather’s favorite Lively brand is Z SUPPLY. She said she loves shopping at Lively because, “the employees, the always seasonally updated styles, the SHOES, and all of the perfect gifts for the women I love in my life”.
