Introducing the June Lively Ladies: Rhonda Unkovskoy & Marisa Haga!
Meet Rhonda!
Rhonda was living in Aspen when a friend introduced her to her future husband who was living in Durango at the time and the rest is history! Rhonda and her husband share a son, Nick, who is studying at Middlebury College where he also races for their Alpine Ski team.
If you’re a local, you might recognize this beautiful face as Rhonda is a co-owner of Pilates Durango! Rhonda has a Business/Marketing background and had a career in Marketing and Sales, but Pilates has always been a part of her life. Rhonda remembers doing Pilates with her mom as a teen and attributes her relatively injury-free athletic life to Pilates! This passion led her to teach evening classes as a hobby until she decided to make a full-time career out of teaching Pilates. In her free time, you can catch Rhonda skiing and cycling as it’s been a big part of her family life. Also, Rhonda enjoys hiking with her dog, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
Rhonda’s favorite Lively staples include Wooden Ships knit sweaters, Dear John shorts, Naked Feet shoes, and basically anything Johnna chooses for her to try on! She says she loves shopping at Lively because, “such a welcoming boutique. The stylists are helpful and professional whether it’s helping me choose clothing for myself or a gift for a friend. Lively has a variety of clothing from Durango casual to more elevated holiday or special occasion styles!”.

Meet Marisa!
Marisa grew up in Ridgeway, CO and moved to Durango after living in Seattle and New York teaching dance and Pilates. She met Rhonda when she moved to town and they started Pilates Durango together soon after that! Marisa has a 9 year old daughter, Frida, who loves art and playing outside. Marisa will be getting married to her wonderful partner, Gabriel, this upcoming fall!
Marisa got into Pilates after studying dance in college. She loved learning the anatomy of the body and how to help people move better! In her spare time, Marisa enjoys hiking, skiing, baking, reading, and spending time with her family and dogs.
Marisa’s favorite Lively brands are Bobi and KUT From the Kloth! She loves how soft and comfortable both line’s fabrics are. Marisa loves shopping at Lively because, “everyone at Lively is so thoughtful in picking our clothes to try on and make you feel special and confident. There’s so many fun clothes at Lively and it feels like such a treat shopping there!”.
